About Friends of Morgans School

Friends of Morgans is a committed group that supports Morgans School and its students. Our mission is to create a nurturing environment where children can excel both academically and socially. We organize fundraising events and community activities that enhance the school's resources and foster engagement.

For example, in the past year, we successfully raised over £18,000 through various events, which provided students with new educational materials and improved facilities. While we take our mission seriously, we also believe in enjoying the process. What Does a Communications co-ordinator Do?

The Communications Co-Ordinator plays a crucial role in promoting FOMS events and getting our message out to parents. Here’s a clear picture of what's involved:

Update and maintain the FOMS website using Wix.
Create and schedule engaging social media posts to promote PTA activities and achievements.
Design posters and graphics using Canva for events and initiatives.
Collaborate with other PTA members to ensure effective communication.
Gather and share news and updates relevant to the school community.

Valuable Skills Needed

Basic knowledge in website management (Wix).
Good understanding of social media platforms and trends.
Graphic design skills, particularly with Canva.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
