Friends Of Morgans School (FOMS) is a registered charity whose purpose is to provide the vital link between parents and the School, and to support the School with provision of resources to create the optimum environment for learning. We do this by continuing to host regular fund raising activities for the school community and by supporting the major events in the school calendar.

We’re a core team of just 5 members, alongside a wider group of amazing parents who help out regularly at our events. We are all parents at the school and work full time too, but love putting on these events for our children’s enjoyment and supporting the school with much needed funraising.
As you can imagine, it takes a lot of work to put on our large events, but they’re an integral part of Morgans school life! The events are important for our school community, are loved by the children, as well as raising essential funds used for school projects, which have recently included Read Write Inc resources, playground equipment, laptops, ipads and interactive white boards, to enrich our children’s school experience.
If you’d like to become more involved, please come and speak to one of us on the playground or email us at friendsofmorgans@gmail.com. There are lots of ways you can help and it doesn’t need to take up hours of your time.
Events
Events organised have included Spring Discos, Summer Fairs, Morgans Mile, Halloween Discos, Quiz nights, wreath making workshops and Christmas Fairs, as well as an array of other fund raising events.
Any suggestions for future events would be welcomed.
Achievements
In the past we have donated money towards the cost of a new sound and lighting system in Queens Hall, all-weather running track, Ipads, Chromebooks, Smart Screens, sound and lighting for the stage as well as many other wonderful enrichment opportunities for the children at Morgans.
How Can You Help?
Friends of Morgans (FOMS) need as many parents as possible to get involved. It does not matter if you have no previous experience of being in a Parents’ Association. We welcome all new volunteers. If you have been involved with the running of a Parents' Association, please let us know: we will be able to learn from you!
You can just register to be a volunteer to assist at events or join the committee. We are a very small team of friendly and enthusiastic parents and would be grateful for any offer of help, no matter how small. There is no pressure to get roped into absolutely everything or to have a committee post to be able to attend – we promise!

Welcome to Morgans Primary and Nursery School, quite simply the best school in the world! I am honoured to be teaching at this fantastic learning hub and am constantly amazed with the many successes that our children achieve throughout their time at Morgans. I aim for every child to grow into a confident, resilient learner who has a thirst for learning and a love of their community.
