MORGANS 75TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT
SATURDAY 26TH APRIL - 1PM - 5PM
Join us at Morgans School on Saturday 26th April, between 1pm - 5pm, to celebrate our 75th Anniversary!
There will be a presentation on the History of Morgans School courtesy of Hertfordshire Archives at 2.00pm in the school hall.
We will also hold regular tours of the school throughout the afternoon and there will be refreshments available so you can chat about your memories of Morgans over a cuppa and slice of cake.
We hope to see you there!
Morgans ANNIVERSARY gin
To commemorate our anniversary, Friends of Morgans has partnered with Spirit of Hertfordshire to create a personalised gin which we hope you enjoy.
This gin pays tribute to the confluence of four rivers in Hertford whose names we use in the Morgans School House system:
Acorns from the Mimram, by the Great Oak at Panshanger. Holy rosemary from the Roman temple, in ruins on the Rib. Watercress and elderberries from the Bean’s wild stretches. Hops, once carried up the Lea from London on Victorian barges.
FOMS receives a contribution for each bottle sold.

Calling All Alumni! Share Your Memories with Us!
As we celebrate our 75th anniversary, we invite all alumni to share their cherished memories of our beloved Morgans primary school. We are creating a special rolling film to be played throughout our event on 26 April 2025, and we want YOU to be a part of it!
How to Participate:
Record a video clip (no longer than 2 minutes) sharing your full name, the years you attended the school, and a short memory.
Upload your video to our WeTransfer site.
Your memories will be stitched together to create a heartwarming film that showcases the wonderful experiences of our alumni community.
