MORGANS summer fair - saturday 21st june 2025
The Morgans School Summer Fair was back with a bang for 2025 — bigger and better than ever as we celebrated 75 years of Morgans School! Thank you to everyone who came out in the 30° heat to enjoy the fun and games. The biggest thanks must go to the army of volunteers who collected and sorted bottles for the tombola, made up our raffle hampers, helped with set-up the day before and all of those involved on the day- before, during and after the fair, to ensure the event ran smoothly. All those many hours of preparation are worth it when we see all the happy faces!
New for 2025
To celebrate 75 years of Morgans School, FOMS literally pushed the boat out with 2 new attractions - a 50ft high Ferris Wheel and Boat Swings!
traditional family fun at morgans summer fair
We had something for all ages with attractions including inflatable obstacle course, Gladiator Battle, go karts and a bouncy castle, alongside traditional fair games such as Hook a Duck, Wheel of Fortune, Coconut Shy and tug-of-war.

The more comptetitive children could try their hand at archery to see who could shoot the furthest, test their strength in a giant tug-of-war against the grown-ups, or try to score a goal against our amazing team of Goalies - former Morgans pupils, now in year 10, who love coming back year after year to join in the fun!

There were live performances from Morgans School Choir and dance group, alongside sets from musicians from Richard Hale School, the Desborough Duet and the Doorknobs - featuring another former pupil on lead vocals!

As well as a well-stocked bar full of Pimms, cold drinks and ice creams, the stocks were a much-needed way of cooling off in the relentless heat. Headteacher, Mrs Melidoro was a great sport, letting the children pelt her with dripping wet sponges!

Our parent volunteers were superstars braiding kids hair, alongside a professional face-painter.
