What do Friends of Morgans do?

Our aims are very simple. We work together, with everyone doing whatever they can to:

  • Help build a sense of community in the school,
  • Raise money to buy extra equipment for the school.
Recent purchases include the trim-trail, interactive white boards and picnic benches. We are hoping to raise funds for more classroom and playground equipment. If you have any ideas of what you think we should purchase, please get in touch.

What can you do as a Friend of Morgans?

All contributions are welcome – whether you can give time, money, ideas or your skills. An informal committee of parents (mums and dads!) co-ordinate the work of The Friends, with input from teachers and governors. We each bring different skills, but mainly enthusiasm and are always looking for more volunteers. We are keen to ensure that no one gets overburdened with any task they volunteer for. And most of all, we try to have fun along the way.

Keeping in Touch

We will try and send regular updates to parents – either through newsletters or the Morgans school newsletter. Please also keep an eye out for our notice boards or posters in classroom windows.
